Meshy and 3D characters
Generate from one image or several views, request a pose, and choose rigged output.

Prepare the character views
Look for meshy-v7 in memm_list_models. Use image mode for one photo, or reference mode for 2–4 views of the same character. Keep identity, clothing, proportions, and colours consistent across views. Upload each image separately.
Meshy accepts these images as a set: omit image_views. Other 3D models may require labelled views; follow their catalogue. In Meshy photo modes, prompt names the result; it does not direct the geometry.
Pose and rigging are different
Use pose_mode: "a-pose" or "t-pose" to request a pose. Omit it or use an empty string to leave the pose unspecified. A pose request does not add a skeleton.
Select textured-rigged or ultra-rigged for rigged output. Both accept text, a single image, or multiple reference views. Quote the selected option before submitting. Rigging is intended for suitable humanoid characters; choosing it does not guarantee that every character’s anatomy will rig successfully.
There is currently no separate public Memm MCP tool for rigging an existing model. Do not submit a new generation when you only intend to rig an existing file.
Quote a four-view rigged character
Example arguments for memm_quote_generation_cost:
{
"model": "meshy-v7",
"option": "ultra-rigged",
"mode": "reference",
"image_count": 4,
"pose_mode": "t-pose"
}
After approval, use the same settings in memm_generate, replace image_count with four uploaded image_urls, and include prompt, project_id, a stable idempotency_key, and the returned confirm_credit_cost. Never copy an old example’s price into a new request.
Wait, inspect, and export
Save the returned job ID and poll memm_get_job. When the job is done, inspect the preview and download the returned model file. Use modelUrl, modelFormat, and downloadUrl rather than treating a preview image as the 3D asset. Import the downloaded model into Blender for inspection.
Check textures, silhouette, joints, and deformation before producing all characters in a batch. A single photograph cannot establish accurate unseen surfaces. Memm currently routes this Meshy workflow through fal; connecting a personal Meshy API account inside Memm is not yet available.
